Our Guide to This Week: May 23, 2016

This week, we’re tasting our region’s best wines, taking a homebrew 101 class, honing our gardening skills and more.

What we’re doing:

Monday: Springtime is rosé time. Get schooled on it at the French Institute Alliance Française tonight.

Tuesday: Want to start brewing beer at home? Go to this workshop at Bitter & Esters for a 101-level class.

Wednesday: Dairy lovers and lactose-intolerant folks, unite! This fermentation class at Brooklyn Brainery tackles cow’s milk and nut milk alike.

Thursday: Join us at 26Bridge for the 10th annual Brooklyn Uncorked, a celebration of local wines and tasty grub. There will be delicious charcuterie from Les Trois Petits Cochons.

Friday: Urbanspace Garment District boasts some incredible vendors, like Domo Taco, Emmett’s Deep Dish Pizza and more. Take a walk through for lunch.

Saturday: Help beautify Brooklyn Bridge Park this weekend and learn about gardening with the Green Team.

Sunday: Chef John Fraser is celebrating Memorial Day with Narcissa’s 2nd annual crawfish boil. For just $25 per person, you get to enjoy quite a feast!
