From our organizers:
Subtle, rich, with layers of flavor, Mexican cuisine has long been revered as one of the greatest the world has to offer (it was the first cuisine to receive UNESCO culinary heritage status) and few other regions are more renowned for their delectable dishes than Oaxaca. Join us for a feast of traditional Oaxacan cuisine both savory and sweet, guided by chef Zack Wangeman, Oaxacan native and alumn of the hallowed kitchens of Per Se. These little bundles of heaven will delight both vegetarians and carnivores alike – check out the menu below!
Pozole – a traditional stew of pork, hominy and spices
Al pastor tacos – marinated pork grilled with pineapple and served on warm tortillas
Classic salsas– a few of the many condiments you would find in the streets of Mexico
Churros – fried dough dusted in cinnamon and sugar
