Monday: Local Roots NYC is preparing a Thanksgiving feast—with your recipes. All attendees are to send in a family recipe, then the team will choose some that everyone will prepare using their CSA ingredients. A meal, of course, concludes the evening.

Tuesday: Molly Oliver Flowers will show you how to make a seasonal wreath at Brooklyn Grange.

Wednesday: To learn about how people around the world are maintaining traditional foodways, go see journalist Shane Mitchell at the 92Y talking about her book, Far Afield.

Thursday: As part of their new exhibit, “Chow,” MOFAD will be presenting a talk on the history of Chinese takeout and the modern American Chinese food experience.

Friday: Hearth is hosting a “Tykesgiving” where kids aren’t just welcome, but eat for free.

Saturday: Take your Instagram to the next level with a class on food styling and photography (which will also help with table settings) at the Natural Gourmet Institute.

Sunday: Take this Fall Ferments Workshop at Genspace NYC to make sure you have all the best flavors of the season conserved through the winter.

Coming Soon: Join us in Hyde park at the Culinary Institute of America for The Edible Bar Symposium on how bartenders are shaping the culinary landscape. There will be a six-course cocktail-pairing dinner and a discussion.
