Celebrate Women’s History Month a little tipsy. Good Passports has teamed up with Ladies of American Distilleries (LOAD), Boozemenus.com, Time Out and Yelp NYC for The LOADed Cocktail Passport, which will raise money for Bottomless Closet—an organization that provides interview attire and prep to local women in need—and the Brooklyn Public Library. It will support, specifically, those boozy endeavors where women are an indispensable part of the distilling, marketing or branding.

How it works is that, once you purchase, you’ll be able to get one drink featuring one of the spirits brands at each participating location; every establishment will have at least one or two options for you that include illustrious brands such as The Noble Experiment NYC, Tuthilltown Spirits Distillery, Van Brunt Stillhouse, 123 Spirits and more. You don’t have to use them all in one month, either; the passport is good through May 10 of this year.

There are a bunch of bars participating, but high on our list for a visit would be Rouge Tomate Chelsea, Pondicheri, Olmsted, Butter & Scotch, Slowly Shirley and Montana’s Trail House. At that Bushwick stop, they’ll be serving a daiquiri made with local Owney’s Rum.

The kick-off event will take place at New York Distilling Company on March 9, 2017, where you’ll be able to sample spirits either neat or in cocktails, all poured by the Ladies of American Distilleries. You can only get access to those drinks—and snacks provided by Stinky BKLYN—by purchasing the VIP passport. When what’s on offer is this delicious and supporting such important organizations, why not splurge?
