When Ely Key used to cut hay on the family farm up in Vermont, he grew to love the satiating sour taste of an old time, lemonade-like recipe that combined cider vinegar, local maple syrup, and ginger. He and his buddy Garrett Riffle liked it so much, they figured the rest of the world might, too. And so, Switchel was born.
