Game of Thrones fans have a new beer to sip while they anxiously await the final episodes of the series, rumored not to be debuting until 2019.

Cooperstown New York Brewery Ommegang in partnership with HBO Global Licensing just released its ninth Game of Thrones beer “Winter is Here.”

“We celebrate the long-awaited arrival of winter with a beer fit for consumption north of The Wall. ‘Winter is Here,’ is a fortifying and delicious double white, brewed with sea salt and white pepper, sure to keep you warm in winter, no matter how long it lasts,” said Doug Campbell, Brewery Ommegang’s president.

The 8.3% AVB Belgian-style double white ale has a slightly sweet malt flavor, with a full mouthfeel and finish of peppery spice. Emblazoned on the label is the Night King.

“Game of Thrones fans have been waiting for winter since the very first episode of the series debuted,” said Josh Goodstadt, vice president of Global Licensing at HBO. “Now, thanks to this latest Game of Thrones beer, they’ll have the perfect brew to sip throughout the cold months that lie ahead.”

HBO and Brewery Ommegang began creating the beers back in 2013 when HBO was looking for a craft brewery partner. HBO and Brewery Ommegang work together to develop beers that tie into the show elements.

Each beer is a limited-release, sometimes only for a few months at the time. ‘Winter is Here,’ is being sold with ‘Fire and Blood,’ the third beer, originally released in the spring of 2014, and brought back for 2017.
