Our Guide to This Week: August 1, 2016

We’re watching movies with good food and drinking a ton of cider this week.

What We’re Doing:

Monday: Hester Street Fair is bringing the vendors to Bryant Park’s film series. Watch Harvey and eat a Black Tap burger tonight.

Tuesday: Learn all about sencha at the final installment of this tea tasting series.

Wednesday: There’s a lot happening for cider lovers this week, starting with the Cidermakers Dinner Series with Redbyrd Orchard Cider at Wassail.

Thursday: Head to Brooklyn Brewery for a dinner party where you’ll get an in-depth tour, taste various brew experiments and sit down for a whole roasted pig.

Friday: At Bushwick’s Terra Firma, watch a sundown movie selected by Brooklyn Fire Proof, an artist collective while eating dinner.

Saturday: This week’s second big cider extravaganza is Ciderfeast, coming to Manhattan’s East River waterfront. There will be over 10 regional cidermakers as well as a ton of food.

Sunday: Get to Colonia Verde for their Sunday Asados series, this week featuring acclaimed chef Nick Anderer.

Coming Soon: Hopping the LIRR or Hampton Jitney in August? Don’t miss our Food Truck Derby, taking place on the East End.
