Eating a lobster roll this weekend? Check out this video for ThisFish.info, a seafood-tracing tool that will tell you what the fish is, the name of the fisherman or woman who harvested it and how it was harvested. (You can even thank the person who harvested it.)

Ever dream of becoming a full time baker, spending your days assembling seasonal pies and wielding a peel in front of your wood fired oven? Me too. For now though, I live vicariously through@bakerhands. She and her husband bake and farm in Marshall, North Carolina, where they chronicle their adventures on social media and on their blog. Check them out and consider your bucolic fantasy fulfilled.

Forgive the shameless plug, but I love the photos by Lindsay Morris, our photo editor at Edible East End. For her Instagram account, she takes time off from photographing food and concentrates on her life. She and her family travel a lot, so I get to see where they’re going and keep tabs on how big her boys are getting. If you’d like to see more of her food photos, check out her #eeedailypic.

Anne Goldberg: @lanewyorkina
Pastry chef Fany Gerson has her hands in many pots. A native of Mexico who now calls NYC her home, she is a prolific cookbook writer who also owns two businesses. One is dedicated to the confectionary traditions of Mexico, and in particular paletas, or Mexican popsicles. The other is donut shop Dough, which thankfully has expanded their wholesale business and whose products can now be found at my neighborhood coffee shop. As if this weren’t enough, La Newyorkina, as Fany styles herself and her paleta business, has lately been collaborating with fellow New York pastry scions Momofuku Milk Bar and Ovenly. The best, and most mouth-watering way to keep up with her is her Instagram feed, which taunts me daily with rainbow colored treats of both the frozen and fried varieties.

Rachel Wharton: @midtownlunchla
Despite the fact that he has forsaken NYC for Los Angeles — and that when he lived here he focused on Manhattan, not Brooklyn — my favorite Instagram feed belongs to @midtownlunchla, aka Zack Brooks. The pictures may be small, but Brook’s joy for eating and exploring comes across large, same as it does on his podcast FoodistheNewRock and on his site MidtownLunch.com. Mainly though, I am just jealous of him for all the delicious things he apparently eats everyday. (Except for the fried egg rolls from Golden Deli Vietnamese: I was there for that one!)

Gabrielle Langholtz: @quinciple
I don’t live within the delivery range for Quinciple, the weekly box of sublime edibles curated by Kate Galassi—so I make do with the Bed-Stuy based brand’s Instagram feed.  Galassi was once forager for April Bloomfield and now works with over a hundred small farmers near and far, so the delivered-by-bike weekly share—or in my case, envy-inducing images—include everything from white currants to July valencias picked on a small ranch in Southern California.

In addition to being one cool lady, Liz Clayman is an incredibly talented photographer. She shoots a lot for local restaurants and publications (Edible included), but my favorite photos of hers are the ones that feel like slices of her day: her sweet cat, her own kitchen experiments and her travels.
