Blue Bottle Coffee Hosts Latte Art Throwdown to Benefit Oslo Coffee

On January 9th a fire ripped through Oslo Coffee Roaster’s Bedford Avenue location, destroying the space and the equipment. Now their friends at Blue Bottle Coffee are hosting a latte art throwdown to raise money for the folks at Oslo. Aw…it’s so sweet, right? One coffee roaster helping another.

You know the old saying, “People who drink coffee are good people”? Yeah, us neither. But you’ll agree there should be such a phrase when you hear this:

If you’d like to participate (really? you know how to pour leaves and hearts and stuff on a latte?) or just witness the talent firsthand, the event will take place at 7:30 p.m. on February 22 at Blue Bottle’s Berry St. coffee bar (160 Berry, in Williamsburg). It’s a $10 donation to get in. RSVP to [email protected] if you plan to enter the competition. See invite below for more details.
