Ok, people, get your appetites ready for Eat Drink Local Week, which kicks off tomorrow night at a very special cast of restaurants on the South and North Forks (and all across the Empire State). Each of the following restaurants has put together a special Eat Drink Local prix fixe menu to highlight the seven season ingredients of the week and to celebrate the spirit of the week–devoted to highlighting the good farmers, winermakers, brewers, fishers and others who feed us and to building markets for those folks.

Consider the below list just a sampler. The menu prices range from $36 to $95, with various combinations of wine and beer and spirit tastings, and rhubarb showing up in very creative ways. Almond in Bridgehampton will be tweaking its prix fixe for the week, while Bay Burger in Sag Harbor is offering “a Grown-Up Grilled Cheese with New York Cheddar, Green Garlic and Chive Butter, paired with a Chilled Spring Pea and Yogurt Soup” for $10.

Foody’s in Water Mill will be topping its pizzas with some of the seven ingredients, while Fresno Restaurant in East Hampton is dishing Cornell Oysters, tile fish with snap peas, and “Babinski Farms Strawberries with Black Pepper Shortcake and Chantilly Cream.” (Yum!)

Luce & Hawkins in Jamesport is serving house-made yogurt on a crispy oyster omelette, braised lamb shank with cavatelli and peas, and lemon and rhubarb roasted local fish of the day, while Nick & Toni’s in East Hampton is offering a prix fixe that includes “Grilled Lamb Chops, Balsam Farm Zucchini-Local Sugar Snap Peas & Yukon Gold Potato Hash,” “Risotto, Montauk Lobster, Satur Farm Peas & Nick & Toni’s Garden Chives,” and “Balsam Farms Strawberry Panna Cotta, Local Rhubarb & Orange Compote, Citrus Nut Biscotti.”

Red Bar Brasserie in Southampton is working on its offerings, which always include some local veggies and seafood, while Rugosa in East Hampton is planning on “Poached Oyster Napoleon, Rhubarb and Ginger,” “Coconut Lamb Curry, Green Garlic, Cucumber and Yoghurt,” and “Green Pea Blini, Strawberry Compote and Strawberry Sorbet,” paired with wine from Channing Daughters, Wolffer Estate, Grapes of Roth, and Shinn Estate, beer from Fire Island Brewing and Greenport Harbor Brewing Company, and whiskey from Tuthilltown Distillers.

Ruschmeyer’s in Montauk will offer Montauk Pearl oysters, sweet pea green garlic pot pie, and roasted monkfish with bacon and rhubarb compote, while its neighbor The Surf Lodge will also offer local oysters, as well as “Couscous with Summer Squash, Chives, Green Garlic, Toasted Pumpkin Seed and Pecorino,” and “Whole Wheat Spaghetti with Fennel, Strawberries and Pancetta.”

Scrimshaw in Greenport (a 3-year Eat Drink Local veteran) is offering a 3-course wine pairing menu that includes Spring Pea Soup, Crispy Local Pipe’s Cove Oysters Over Greens (with Paumanok Dry Riesling) and L.I. Crescent Farm Duck Breast with Rhubarb Sauce (with Wolffer Estate Cabernet Franc), and Strawberry Rhubarb Pie.

The Southampton Publick House will have its seasonal pours–Keller Pils and Cuvee des Fleurs–on tap to complement its menu on. While The North Fork Table & Inn in Southold has prepared a tasting menu packed with Lamb Loin with Lamb Tongue Ravioli, Swiss Chard and Black Garlic Jus,” and “Rose Poached Rhubarb & Strawberry Compote with  Graham Brown Sugar Crumble and Ginger Ice Cream.”
