If you joined us at Good Beer 2013 in July, you already know that the evening was a knockout. The room was packed with a sold-out crowd and over 60 of our favorite restaurant, food, and drink artisans, in addition to cider makers, spirit brands, and (of course) terrific breweries.

Last Wednesday we kicked off the summer season with a taste of Long Island in the heart of downtown Brooklyn at Brooklyn Uncorked. Wine sippers and food noshers descended on the spectacular Skylight One Hanson (aka the former Williamsburg Savings Bank), where we raised our glass (many times) to celebrate 40 years of Long Island wine making.
At this month’s sixth annual Brooklyn Uncorked, over 700 wine and food enthusiasts flooded the former Williamsburgh Savings Bank–a spectacular building with soaring ceilings that’s better known as Skylight One Hanson–to nibble and sip the various food and wine offerings from over 60 vendors.
