From our organizers:
A Polish Sunday Feast at Cherry Point will present traditional Polish cuisine through a modern lens.
The Sunday family meal is central to communal life in Poland–it’s as Polish as Charlotka, Polish apple pie. Poland-based chef, restaurateur and storyteller, Malika, will bring her award-winning culinary flair and slow food approach to New York City for the first time, in collaboration with The Gefilteria, exploring the many distinct cultural influences that have made contemporary Polish cuisine the melting pot of flavor it is today. Through each dish, she’ll reveal the complexity of the culinary traditions of Poland through the ages. Malika’s own family hails from North Africa, and she manages to combine her own background into Polish classics, which demonstrates the future of Polish cooking.
Dinner will include four courses plus wine and a signature cocktail. Tax and gratuity are included in the ticket price.
* Meal will be kosher-style (no pork or shellfish served). Immediately following ticket purchase, event organizers will be in contact to find out about any dietary restrictions.
