According to the organizers:
The leaves are changing and we’re digging out our scarves and hats, which puts us in the mood for colorful fall foods. We’ll be swapping family favorite recipes and sharing cooking skills in the kitchen as we prepare for one of our favorite holidays of the year.
Each guest will be asked to send in a family favorite Thanksgiving recipe – it can be as simple as your grandmother’s easy mashed potatoes. We’ll choose a few recipes to create together using Local Roots CSA ingredients! There’s no need to be an expert chef, this is the perfect environment to practice, learn, and share but if you don’t feel comfortable teaching others, simply come and learn. Friend of Local Roots, Lee, who has worked in many restaurants, will join us again to lead us through one of her favorite Thanksgiving recipes. We’ll end the evening enjoying the meal together.
There are only 8 spaces for this dinner. This event is open to everyone – CSA and non-CSA members!
Ingredients will be sourced from Local Roots CSA and we will share complimentary Fall wine cocktails.
