From our organizers:
Come join authors Johanna Kindvall and Anna Brones at Archestratus for a traditional Swedish kafferep workshop. Fika is a daily coffee + baked treat ritual in Sweden, and Kafferep, almost like fika, is a more elaborate coffee gathering with several baked goods, friends, and family.
For this class, everyone will get hands-on experience making traditional Swedish cardamom buns, a decadent chocolate cake, and buttery nutmeg cookies. Afterward, we shall all sit down and have a proper Kafferep!
All classes at Archestratus guarantee a hands-on cooking experience, a treat with some new friends, and something to take home and share with your loved ones.
Signed copies of Johanna and Anna’s book FIKA: The Art of the Swedish Coffee Break, as well as Kindvall’s Smörgåsbord and Brones’ Live Lagom, will be available for sale.
