According to the organizers:
ALT Feast will be taking over the Four Horsemen on Wednesday, 1/25 . ALT Feast is a collaboration between legendary French chef Laurent Gras (worked under Guy Savoy, Alain Ducasse, Jacques Maximin and more), Alex Leonard (Daniel, Noma, Blanca) and Tim Dornan (L20, Qui, Eleven Madison Park). As real-life friends as well as chefs who have cooked together professionally, ALT Feast is an outlet for the three of them that allows them to create holistic, one-off experiences.
For their dinner at 4H, they’ve come up with a Parisian-style bistro menu that takes notes from the classic chefs and restaurants of the 19th century such as Alexandre Dumas’ 1873 recipe for tête de veau with sauce ravigote and Paris’ restaurant Rocher de Cacalle’s Dover Dole Normande. Not to mention it is extremely decadent in a classically French way—think fois gras, truffle, pâté, boudin blanc.
