From our organizers:
This Saturday, 8 September, I will be leading a local walk in Brooklyn, along the wild edges of Dead Horse Bay. After the rain it is looking very lush (for an old dump) and is an excellent spot to see some shoreline native edibles like sea rocket, bayberry and the last sumac species of the season to ripen, Rhus copallinum. We will picnic in the dunes on treats from the pages of Forage, Harvest, Feast. There are four spots left. Please book via this link at 66 Square Feet.
