According to the organizers:
Wish you had a better way of engaging and learning about the wild medicine which grows right outside your door? Did you even know you had wild medicine growing all around you? In this workshop, participants will study common healing plants growing aboard Swale that you can also find all over New York City. Swale is like a seed, a concentration of energy that trains your senses to better recognize the countless unintentional garden plots in the city that harbor the same kinds of healing plants. This workshop begins with a plant tour, talking about these green allies while partaking in an herbal infusion. We will then do a fun plant hunting activity and spend some time coloring from pages of Urban Wild: Coloring and Activity Book. All materials included. Find out more about Common Knowledge here. All ages welcome.
