According to the organizers:
Learn with Sarah, our friend and a talented baker, about how to work with natural leavening and the health benefits of wholesome, flavorful sourdough baked goods. You will have an immersive lesson on maintaining a sourdough starter, mixing, shaping, scoring and baking a bread recipe from her James Beard awarded book entitled Sourdough. You will leave the class with a jar of starter, a loaf to bake at home and the ability to create sourdough baked goods on your own. Signed books will be available for purchase from the author.
All materials will be provided for use in the class along with complimentary homemade sourdough nibbles and a glass of wine. Tickets are final sale and non-refundable. Price includes 8.875% NY state sales tax.
