“It’s all in the sauce” is a famous notion in the kitchen. At times, though, sauce-making can seem an intimidating task, requiring skills and ingredients we aren’t used to using. This class is here to help encourage your sauce-making skills and expand on what are considered to be staple sauces.
Your new sauce arsenal will include a Blended Pesto, Tahini and Sesame Oil Marinade, Honey and Lemon Dressing, and an Herb Vinaigrette. These four sauces require no cooking, just simple assembly. They rely on fresh ingredients and can all be utilized as marinades, dressings, and dips. We will also discuss simple substitutions for dietary needs. You’ll take home a couple of the sauces and sample the others in class.
