From our organizers:
Land? Water? Food? Art? Come meet us where they all collide!
The Trust for Public Land’s Next Gen Council invite you for a special event on the topic of Creative Placemaking – to feature a panel discussion followed by drinks, snacks, and foraging tours!
The evening will center on the process of using arts and culture in the creation of public spaces, and how these relate to the NYCEDC’s revitalization of Brooklyn Army Terminal as an affordable hub for businesses, entrepreneurs and working families in NYC.
– Matthew Clarke, Director of Creative Placemaking, The Trust for Public Land
– Krystin Hence, Senior Program Manager, Asset Management, New York City Economic Development Corporation
– Mary Mattingly, Founding Artist, Swale
Proceeds from this event will support Swale and The Trust for Public Land’s programs in New York.
