Technically speaking, it’s spring. Mother Nature has never really been one for calendars, though. The books might say we recently changed seasons, but the farmers markets stands are full of produce that got us through the winter.

These cool weather stalwarts from Breezy Hill Orchard and Cider Mill in the Hudson Valley are many pantries’ saving graces and consistently finish strong as we welcome warmer weather (soon, oh soon, please!). Be grateful for your New York apples, folks; you never know what kind of harsh winter they’ll get you through…
