EDIBLE GLIMPSES: Booty Shaking and Barbecue at the West Indian Day Parade

It’s Labor Day weekend, which means two things: you don’t have to work Monday (hopefully!) and Brooklyn is about to start pulsing with the sounds and sights–and eats– of The West Indian Day Parade.  Our mouths are watering already for a cool drink of sorrel and some spicy jerk chicken (read our story here for more foods you should try).  Check out our slideshow for highlights from previous celebrations.
