The Portland, Oregon–born Bunk Sandwiches recently opened their Williamsburg location. From the classic bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich to the roasted poblano torta, the menu has a vibe that can’t be pinned down. A recent addition is the “vegetarian sandwich for carnivores,” which features marinated chickpeas, arugula, feta, and hot peppers. All sandwiches come with a side of delicious potato chips, but the crispy, perfectly salted tater tots are a solid addition to the starch load. There’s a ton here for meat-eaters and vegetarians, as well as $1 off draft beers for a daily happy hour, so there’s no reason not to check it out.
