Whether we see can it or not, tech is rapidly changing the we farm, eat and drink—shouldn’t we all know what that means?

We think so and this fall we’re bringing back Food Loves Tech: our annual, all you can eat and drink deep dive into the future of agriculture, food and drink. On November 2-3 at Sunset Park’s Industry City, we’ll showcase promising technologies and explore questions including:

  • What are the newest plant-based proteins and are they really better for the environment and health? Most importantly perhaps, how do they taste?
  • What are the latest, cutting edge kitchen tools and can they actually help me cook better?
  • What is CRISPR, how is it changing crops and livestock, and should I be concerned about consuming these products?

Belvedere Vodka partnered with the Gramercy Tavern bar team to create an Food Loves Tech exclusive cocktail menu.

Building from last year’s success, we’re bringing back our expo (now with an “In Good Health” section—stay tuned), feedfeed test kitchen and panel series with both returning and new experts. We’ll be rolling out more details about this year’s lineup here soon, but to give you an idea of who’ll be there, last year we were honored to welcome the United Nations Development Programme, Food Tank president Danielle Nierenberg, feedfeed founders Dan and Julie Resnick, food entrepreneur and former White House chef Sam Kass, author and scientist Marion Nestle, Gramercy Tavern executive chef Mike Anthony and a slew of leading women journalists chronicling our changing ag, food and drink industries.

There’s still lots more to share and you can grab your early bird ticket—$20 off the general admission price!—before July 1. Interested in participating? Check out the dek and let us know. And be sure to stay tuned to Food Love Tech’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as we roll out the latest developments. Hope to see you in November!
