Hoping to recreate the vibe of holidays with too many bodies in the kitchen cooking, chatting and having fun, Joe Che threw himself a party in 2009 that spawned a movement.  Chaos Cooking, now an international phenomenon akin to Couchsurfing for cooks, involves perhaps dozens of people (often strangers), crammed into one home, vying for burners, sharing cutting boards and generally creating a culinary cacophony.  Read the story for more on cooking’s latest craze and how to get involved.
